Happy Sheep Studio — Our Story

We make cute games about stressful situations.

Happy Sheep Studio is a solo indie studio founded by Alex — a lifelong gamer with a soft spot for cute things and chaotic gameplay.

Alex’s journey into game development didn’t start with expensive tools or formal training. It started as a kid, messing around with SketchUp on an old PC that crashed constantly. Even then, he loved building worlds.

Life took him toward IT… but games never left.

During the pandemic, Alex finally decided to take game development seriously. He taught himself Blender, then Unreal Engine, learning everything the hard way through late nights, tutorials, and trial-and-error. Since then, he’s released three Android games, taken part in multiple game jams, and slowly built the skills needed to create full experiences.

Happy Sheep Studio was born after a three-month vanlife trip around the UK with his wife — a journey that unexpectedly became creative inspiration. Surrounded by countryside, quiet roads, and far too many adorable sheep, Alex realised he wanted to make games that mixed cozy charm with high-energy chaos.

That contrast became the heart of the studio.

Today, Happy Sheep Studio focuses on creating playful experiences — games that make you laugh, panic, and smile at the same time.

The studio’s first title, Blenderman, is currently in development and launching soon. It’s a first-person chase horror game where a killer blender hunts adorable fruit through dark forests' a perfect example of Happy Sheep’s philosophy:

Cute characters. Stressful situations.
